Looking to learn English or take your language skills to the next level? Our General English Program is suitable for learners of all levels — from beginners with no prior experience to advanced speakers wanting to sharpen their skills. Whether you are just starting out or aiming to improve your everyday communication, the course focuses on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing. This well-rounded program is designed to build confidence and help you use English comfortably in real-life situations.
Upon successful completion of the General English Program, you can expect to gain a wide range of skills and knowledge to help you in the next phase of life. The General English Program lays the foundation for a significant range of careers and employment pathways.
There are no academic requirements for new students enrolling in the General English course. To place students in the appropriate class, they are required to sit a Placement Test during orientation or induction. Alternatively, students can be placed based on their previous General English summative test results.

In the General English program, assessments are designed to track progress in the core language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—across all proficiency levels. Formative assessments are taken every week. Summative assessments are completed by week 5 and week 10.
Feedback is provided after each assessment to guide further development, and overall progress is continuously monitored through interactive learning activities and formal evaluations.

Beginner | Elementary | Pre-intermediate | Intermediate | Upper – intermediate | Advanced
Upon successfully completing a level, you will progress to the next level of the course. Students who are following an academic pathway will be eligible to transition into further courses once they achieve the Advanced level in the General English program.
This course also prepares students for future study in the Australian VET sector or higher education. Alternatively, it can be used to strengthen English language skills for professional and personal purposes, both in Australia and in your home country.
